Staff open a parcel at the pickup branch. It starts as pending. Tracking number uses the branch code (KBL, HRT, MZR…).

Branch to branch delivery
Create a parcel, send it in a batch, receive it at the destination branch, deliver it to the recipient.
Send in a batch
Pending parcels go in a batch from one branch to another. Status becomes sent, then in transit, then received.
Deliver and balance
When received, delivery price comes off the customer balance. When delivered, item price (AFN) is credited.
Rate calculator is not wired yet
A live system would take pickup branch, receiver branch, and weight.
